According to the press service of the NMMC, in the first half of 2023, solar photoelectric power plants with a capacity of 600 kW were put into operation. and generated 64.5 thousand kW.h. electricity.
By the end of this year, it is planned to put into operation solar photoelectric power plants with a capacity of 1,200 kW, generating 2 million kW.h. electricity per year.
By the end of 2024, the total capacity of solar photovoltaic power plants installed at the plant will reach 3,450 kW., and it will be possible to receive 6 million kWh from solar photovoltaic plants. electricity per year.
This will make it possible to cover 65 percent of the annual electricity demand in buildings where photovoltaic plants are installed from solar energy.
In the Zarafshan-Uchkuduk region of the Navoi region, a power supply scheme has been developed for a large photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 220 MW.
By the end of this year, it will be built and put into operation.
In the future, the power of this FES will be increased to 500 MW.
The plant currently has 1,647 solar water heaters that produce 240,000 liters of hot water per day. The use of devices allows saving 377 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per year.
This year, 3,346 solar water heaters will be installed at 14 sites with a daily hot water production capacity of 486,000 liters.
By the end of the year, the total number of operating solar water heaters at the plant will be increased to 5,000 units, which will make it possible to produce 725,000 liters of hot water per day and reduce natural gas consumption by 1.7 million cubic meters per year.
As a result, the needs of the plant’s facilities for hot water in April-October will be 100 percent provided by solar water heaters.
